What is NILa?
NILa is a student initiative by and for landscape architecture students in Nürtingen. Founded in early 2025, it aims to foster stronger communication among students as well as with the teaching staff. The goal is to make studying more enjoyable and inclusive through mutual support, knowledge exchange, and collective engagement.
Knowledge exchange
Knowledge exchange at NILa is based on mutual support across different semesters. Students with particular skills – in areas such as CAD, drawing, or other specialized fields – share their knowledge regardless of whether they are in the basic or advanced stages of their studies. External experts will also contribute through workshops. This creates a collaborative learning environment built on equal footing.
Sharing informations
NILa collects and shares helpful knowledge related to studying: What can I expect in each semester? What do I need to know when starting my studies or taking on the role of a class representative? Practical tips – such as how to work from home, stay organized, or use helpful tools – are also passed on. This way, everyone benefits from each other’s experiences and has access to all the important information.
