Urban integration of main traffic routes with tramways – Olgastraße, Ulm
Olgastraße in Ulm, a central traffic axis with tram connections since 1897, no longer meets the requirements of a modern urban street space in its current form. As part of the upcoming renovation of tracks and sewer systems, designs were developed in an elective course that enable a more balanced distribution of space. The goal was to create a diverse, sustainable use with more space for recreation, bicycle and pedestrian traffic, greenery, and urban life.
