Ruoff Foundation, Nürtingen
For the planned overall use of the property of the Fritz and Hildegard Ruoff Foundation in Nürtingen, the goal was to develop an interpretation of the surrounding open space that corresponds to the contents, as well as to create new functional and recreational qualities. From the time-typical juxtaposition of the interior and exterior areas, a coherence of use in terms of design and content was to be developed. At the same time, inviting gestures, contents strategically carried to the outside and future-oriented functional additions demanded sensitivity in dealing with the existing building.
