Theater Square Karlsruhe
The Baden State Theater in Karlsruhe is a renowned multi-specialty theater with a high reputation throughout Germany. Since the theater no longer meets today’s technical and functional requirements, the building and the open space around it are to be redesigned. The task was to create a multifunctional, lively open space with an impact on the urban environment; to generate new qualities of stay and to show off the coexistence of building and open space in a new way.
