ZOB Nürtingen

 

With its “Bahnstadt development concept”, the city of Nürtingen is looking, among other things, for a functionally and formally improved new concept for the central bus station (ZOB). The aim was to create a sufficient number of stopping positions – as close as possible to the station – with optimized routing and improved quality of stay. The roofing of the new ZOB was to be planned as a skeleton structure in timber or steel construction and meet functional and technical requirements.

It should allow for quality of stay at any time of the year and provide full or partial protection against the weather. In addition to the design quality and the functional suitability, the constructive implementation (use of materials, proportionality of means, durability, transportability) was part of the task.
