FUTURE CITY EBERTPLATZ KÖLN

The challenges of the present require new concepts of how we live, how we want to live. The city of the future will no longer be defined by buildings alone, but by the creation of sustainable living spaces. The housing estate of tomorrow must generate ecological added value, open up social meeting spaces, cushion the impact of climate change and integrate sustainable mobility options. 

The task of the interdisciplinary master’s project was to design a pilot project for sustainable urban development for Ebertplatz and its urban environment and to consider the transformation of an existing urban structure in terms of sustainability.
