Master LA1

Workshop

2016

Forest Lab

An interdisciplinary workshop will develop concepts for how energy landscapes can become part of the urban open space system. We will develop design strategies to open up productive landscapes aesthetically and to open up exciting uses of open space. In Cologne, Prof. Frank Lohrberg (RWTH Aachen University) has set up an experimental field to explore the potential of productive open spaces as new, sustainable open space typologies. Together with students from the RWTH Aachen (architecture), the Alanus University (sculpture) and the University of Munich (landscape architecture), we will experiment with this topic of the future.
