Citizen’s Park Esslingen
In Esslingen-Mettingen, right by the River, an attractive citizens’ park should be created in a scenic location. This will not only serve for quiet recreation, but will be usable in a variety of ways: For play and sports, as a meeting space and for planned and spontaneous activities. The task was to design a multifunctional, architecturally appealing park that would act as a stepping stone between the two banks of the Neckar and at the same time provide access to the riverbank.
